Ram Ghat: Ram Ghat is the spiritual heart of Chitrakoot and the most revered place in the region. Situated on the banks of the Mandakini River, it is believed that Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Lakshmana spent a significant portion of their 14-year exile here. The ghat has been a sacred pilgrimage site since ancient times and is mentioned in Ramayana texts. Today, Ram Ghat hosts daily aartis, religious ceremonies, and grand celebrations during Amavasya and Ram Navami. Saints, sages, and devotees gather here for meditation and prayers. The peaceful riverfront, temples, and evening lamps create a deeply divine atmosphere.

Kamadgiri Parikrama: Kamadgiri Hill is considered the most sacred spot in Chitrakoot, believed to be the original Chitrakoot described in the Ramayana. According to legends, Lord Rama resided on this hill during exile. Devotees perform a 5 km parikrama (circumambulation) around the hill, believing it fulfills wishes and grants spiritual merit. Numerous temples, caves, and holy spots lie along the parikrama path. The hill is considered the physical manifestation of Lord Rama himself, making it the central pilgrimage destination of Chitrakoot.

Hanuman Dhara: Hanuman Dhara is a hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman, featuring a natural water stream flowing continuously over the idol. Devotees must climb around 360 steps to reach the shrine, offering panoramic views of Chitrakoot. The place symbolizes devotion, strength, and divine protection and is especially crowded on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Gupt Godavari Caves: Gupt Godavari consists of two limestone caves where Lord Rama and Lakshmana are believed to have stayed secretly. The caves are both spiritually significant and geologically fascinating, offering a mystical experience.
